Dear Khali
Is it right to be in a committed relationship here in SL when you are married in RL? Could it be considered cheating? Where do you draw the line between SL and RL relationships?

This is a sticky issue as everyone has an opinion and they vary greatly. Some argue that since there is no real physical contact involved it is not cheating. On the other hand, others believe that the giving of your time and the sharing of your emotions is cheating. And then there is the issue of intimacy! So my advice to you is simple – how would you feel if you were to learn that your RL partner was in a relationship in SL, sharing time and emotions, giving of themselves and indulging in intimate scenarios with someone else? Would you be comfortable with that? Only you know your partner, and therefore, you already know how they would feel about you being involved with someone in SL. Based on what you know already, only you can determine if what you are doing is cheating. I wish you the best.
